C. False.
D. True.
In the past ratios of 0.7 (70 %) were considered adequate. More recently work on volunteers has revealed that even very small amounts of residual ‘curarisation’ cause respiratory distress. Nowadays it is considered that the TOF or DB ratio should be at least 0.9 (90 %) before the patient should be handed over to recovery room staff.
