Interventions for the Unconscious Child
Stepwise interventions for the unconscious child:
- Basic airway manoeuvres:
- Oropharyngeal airway (Fig 3)
- Intubation or LMA (Laryngeal Mask Airway)
- Cricothyroidotomy
Always give oxygen.
Reassess - has
the child improved?
