Optimize your battery when you first receive it:

• Place the rechargeable battery in the oximeter
• Charge fully (4 hours) then use oximeter
• Do not continually charge the battery when in use as the battery loses performance. It is better to run on battery and then recharge when not in use
• If reliable electricity is available, the oximeter may be used continually plugged in, but it is better to remove the battery in this situation

Thereafter use/recharge as required. The oximeter should run for 12-16 hours between charges.

Readings may become inaccurate when the battery is very low, so recharge in time!
