A 1% lidocaine solution has 1 g of drug in 100 ml solution. So, 1% lidocaine has 10 mg lidocaine in 1 ml.
Adrenaline (Epinephrine)
1:1000 has 1 mg of drug in 1 ml.
1:10 000 solution has 100 micrograms/ml.
1:100 000 solution has 10 micrograms/ml.
1:200 000 solution has 5 micrograms/ml. This is the most common concentration used for nerve blocks.
