Mechanism of Injury
When managing the trauma patient, you should:
- Find out what happened
- Suspect serious injuries where there is a significant mechanism of
injury, for example:
- Pedestrian hit by a car
- Ejection from a vehicle or rollover
- Death in the same vehicle
- Fall from height >6m
- Gunshot wounds
